Save Her a Seat funds places on our retreats for women who would love to come but can't stretch to it.
Who we support, and why
Tribe Fortune exists so that women in Dumfries and Galloway can have regular, honest time for themselves, with trusted local people, in small groups where nobody has to perform. We know from the women who come to us that what helps most is simple: being looked after for a few hours, being with other women who get it, and having your body taken seriously.
But we also know that the women who need that most are often the ones least able to pay for it. The unpaid carer who hasn't had a morning to herself in years. The woman rebuilding her life after leaving a relationship that took everything. The nurse who has spent her whole career looking after everyone else and is now going through menopause on a twelve hour shift.
So we work with organisations who support those women every day. Since February 2026, Dumfries and Galloway Carers Centre has booked carers onto our half day retreats, and the carer never pays a penny or has to think about money. They just turn up and get looked after for once. As one carer told the centre afterwards, "Thank you again for making this accessible for me."
We want to do much more of that. Which is where you come in.

Add a little to your own ticket. When you book a half day retreat, choose the option with £5 or £10 extra towards another woman's place.

How it works
Every penny goes into a separate pot that is only ever used to pay for retreat places. None of it goes on running costs or marketing.
We only offer a place once it's fully paid for.
Places go to women put forward in confidence by organisations we trust, starting with Dumfries and Galloway Carers Centre. Nobody is ever named.
After each retreat, we'll tell you how many seats you've saved together.
